Crumbs of a gingerbread heart Shared with a stranger Over a coffee given away Just on this long night Does anyone share? Share hopes and fears Hidden in wishes Merry Christmas everyone Memory and holy silence And even that tree Scarred with an iron cross Nailed to it long ago When it still dreamt of Reaching heaven Will happily welcome The baby tonight Okruszki piernikowego serca Przełamane z nieznajomym  Nad darmową kawą rozdawaną Tylko w tę długą noc  Czy ktoś się dzieli  Dzieli nadzieją i strachem Ukrytymi w życzeniach   Wesołych Świąt dla Wszystkich Pamięć i święta cisza   I nawet to drzewo Z blizną po krzyżu żelaznym   Ktory ktoś przygwoździł dawno temu Gdy wciąż śniło O sięgnięciu nieba Wesoło powita   Dziecinę dziś wieczorem

Thru....

Thru For you I will cross the glass to bring back hope For you I’ll deny time flows but all I’ll cope For you I can’t change the past or what’s amid For you I will say I’m sorry for what I did Gripping set of questions Challenging the order Attachment, possessions Am I just a warder? Mad is what they call me As I’m never sure you’re here But I know they don’t see We lack a puppeteer For you I will cross the glass to bring back hope For you I’ll deny time flows but all I’ll cope For you I can’t change the past or what’s amid For you I will say I’m sorry for what I did Cherishing the moment Never seemed enough for me I am no exponent But still hope you’ll disagree Beating pawns is easy Feel I’m shrinking by your side But the mirror’s queasy Thru flaky world I will ride For you…. Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall Humpty Dumpty lowly and small Only your favour in all kinds of weather Can bring Humpty Dumpt...

Univaste (Wszechśmiot) - inspired by S. Lem

Obraz
Univaste So you say it has a purpose A goal we all get to A reasonable explanation Weal-so-never ex-plantation But why then when meditating Now and Here We land in a spot marked by void Nowhere So you say progress Pro-grace Holy grace God knows why we think The best is yet to come To develop De-veil-open until the last cover Reveals blinding glare Pro-grave So you say freedom of speech Free-doom of speech Uncontrolled loss of any value Of words never described Dis-cribbed words forbidden Scribbling slogans that no-one will Make out (out damn spot) Scrubbling cortex Court-text message Punished for language Not cunning enough To please instead of Besmirching Beans myrrh and steel Brought to the very heart of Univaste

L.

L.  (on the day Bowie died) Oh no, don’t say it’s true Why don’t you rise Mr L I bid you to, again You don’t know who I am I have no job, you didn’t make it Wind has dusted starry ashes Leaves clinging off the tree Little pieces of immortality Failed solitary flicker Somewhere on the third floor Behind the door there’s a path Leading to where the ground Under and above has no control On the rocky terrace Offering has been done on this stage Purple skies are saved, free The two figures meet in a labyrinth In a promise of come-union Behind these old blocks On a cemetery with no graves I am eighteen, my looks won’t cheat you Dirty illusions of mature infinity Flow from a broken chalice Sordid follow-up lets down And no-one took your place for that trip up No-one will dance, not me... Where are the winds that carry my thoughts away C’mon my hands, feel and caress the clay Until you form a better me And I’ll put your min...

New Year’s Sonnet On days like this one sadly ponders how Fragile becomes our immortality. These dusks that hurry dawns for us avow That even grave ends in banality. My innuendo shouts to seize the fruit And squeeze until the breeze of life is out, Which never gives up, but since time must scoot You have to shut it inside or it’ll sprout And give another fruit to someone’s grace. Vivacious wheel of esse goes at will Abandons those who fail to keep its pace. It only offers rush, no peace, no frill. Yet I admit it is worth every breath  Each blink is infinite in spite of death.   photo in the frame: Jerzy Bednarski

My Own Waste-land

Obraz
My Own Waste-land May is the cruellest month, breeding Hopes Of recovery That are mown like the Abundant greenery Which recklessly sprung Now rotting On the path To lose one friend Whose always pampered fur Is now smothered with The spongy, not parched, soil Cheerfully welcoming Tears from the sky [ Heavens have been Weeping (what a cliché) For more than a week ] Seemed too much To bear My Fisher-king of snails now He is Silence piercing the hollow Of  our ears Fills the home Like cry against The laws of nature Nostrils devoid of The smell of Another living creature Of reek of The dying creature Cannot believe in Purity of air To lose another friend then Seems a joke Will it help , recalling Our discussions on the eternity Immortal values and infinite Qualities of art Its responsibilities To bear witness To those who cannot speak any more Now you are numb and Death gagged you Biology ...

Eleanor Rigby - Polish translation - moje polskie tłumaczenie

Obraz
Eleanor Rigby Ach.

Sonnet on Eclipse

Obraz
Sonnet 2 (On Eclipse) As Sun lets way to lady Moon one day, Yet night surrenders and the light prevails. When spring as if unwelcomed just turns grey, I take my brain and heart to put on scales. If lies are told on daily base unbreached, And mighty rulers claim our lives are theirs, Shall I stand up to have them all impeached, Or rather let life flow despite affairs? Do elements play allies or dour foes? Is harmony of spheres what runs it all? Is the result what matters or the cause? I do not know, but questions will enthrall. Though sun gets dark, my moods will never sink. As long as you’re with me, my strongest link.

Abysmally Treated

Obraz
Abysmally Treated Unfathomable as it is Abbysal notion I open the box of documents (Standing next to a book By the poet whose dreams were Trodden) It’s got roses and Butterflies on Letters Bills Certificates A workshop on DVD And a wipe for glasses Time to use it I guess Eyes see the nefariousness Magnitude of mishaps Impregnated my pillow Printed with witches Tears run away from it Back to my head Veni, vidi no victory The sword needs to be Reforged but fire’s gone Check-mate my mates I’m no longer your stanchion And my mantra follows From every nook inside my head To be myself, regain my thread I want to banish recollection I must set up a proper flection It doesn’t matter hurt or touched Unfairly treated, badly matched Hide in that box the pride which pricks Dig inside, never chase what slicks Let every bud whirl in your eyes Don’t give up building your here paradise. Shanti shanti shanti Again ...

Sliding (a song)

Obraz
Sliding I kick off my muddy boots Weary servants of the spring And lie down Looking for a lazy whisper come I don’t know it sucks or suits But this waiting’s like a sling Once run-down But later will push me towards the sun Searching For the way round to make for start Digging Tunnels deep where we’re not apart Clutching Bag of tickets I freely use Sliding Down the slope of your lame excuse I kick off my shiny shoes Head’s like sitting on a swing Due to stop Nobody’s round here to start the strum So devoid of mighty booze And all fringes it may bring Now I frown Cos there is no-one to make me thrum…
